Grief Tending
A sacred 1:1 journey to honor your grief, soften into what has been lost, and remember the fertile ground of your own heart.
A space where sorrow becomes sacred soil, a guided journey to tend your grief, listen to your body, and return to life’s quiet pulse.
Beloved one,
If you have arrived here, it is because a part of you is ready to receive support in one of the most tender, vulnerable and sacred experiences of our human lives.
I want to honor the courage it took to seek holding and witnessing in your grief, and to find yourself reading these words.
Grief lives in all of us — whether we name it or not.
It arises through the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a place, a part of our identity, or a version of ourselves now gone.
We have been told not to feel too much and that to feel is not safe.
That life goes on. That there is nothing to do.
And while time may carry us forward, what truly heals is turning toward what aches, tending to the places within us that still long, still ache, still remember.
When grief is not felt fully, it stays stuck in the body, creating stagnation, fatigue, disconnection.
We feel stuck in our lives, in our breath, in our hearts, in our ability to love, create and feel alive.
We were never meant to grieve alone. Grief work is community work.
Across ancestral and Indigenous cultures, grief has always been held together, in community, through song, ceremony, prayers, ritual and deep presence.
There is no right or wrong way to grieve.
Each expression, each tear, each silence is sacred.
I am here as a witness, a guide, and a companion through this rite of passage, supporting you in releasing what has been held for too long and remembering that your grief, too, is holy.

Your grief is sacred.
It deserves to be felt, heard, and witnessed.
Why Grief Work
Grief is not a problem to fix, it is a teacher, an initiator, a passage back to the raw pulse of life.
In a culture that glorifies control and constant doing, we are rarely taught how to sit with endings. Yet, every ending — every heartbreak, loss, or letting go — carries within it a seed of rebirth.
To grieve consciously is to return to your aliveness.
When we don’t allow grief to move through us, it lodges in the body  as exhaustion, emotional numbness, tension, illness, or disconnection.
Through tending your grief, you begin to release what has been held too long and make space for vitality, clarity, and love to flow again.
This Journey Blends:
- Grief Rituals & Ancestral Practices
 - Somatic and Nervous System Healing
 - Therapy & Emotional Integration
 - Herbalism and Body-Based Support
 - Elemental Wisdom and Ceremony
 - Weekly Journal Prompts & Grounding Practices
 - Pre-recorded guided Meditations

Grief teaches us the value of life.
It strips us bare, only to reveal the fertile soil beneath, the ground from which new life, new meaning, and new tenderness can emerge.
There is no finish line to grief, only deeper layers of understanding, feeling, and remembering.
Through the dark soil of loss, something luminous is always waiting to be born.
Together, we will walk through the thresholds of grief — from numbness to pain, from confusion to faith, from despair to gratitude, from loss to love. Honoring and making space for all.
This Mentorship is for You if You…

 - Wish to weave ceremony, embodiment, and prayer into your healing journey

 - Have been holding space for others and feel ready to tend to your own heart
 - Sense that grief can become a portal — an initiation — into deeper faith, beauty, and presence

Know that your body, your tears, your breath are temples of remembrance, and long to inhabit them fully again
The Many Faces of Grief
Grief wears many forms. It is not only the death of a loved one. It may be the quiet ache after a breakup or a friendship that faded. The sorrow of a miscarriage, a womb loss, or an unfulfilled longing. The grief of leaving a place, a dream, a version of yourself behind. The invisible ache carried from your lineage, your ancestors, or the collective.
Each of these losses deserves presence, reverence, and care.
No grief is too small or too large to be witnessed. There is no hierarchy in loss.
Why Seek Support
Grief is meant to be held in community — to be sung, wept, and witnessed.
But in modern life, we often grieve in silence, carrying what our hearts were never meant to hold alone.
This mentorship offers a sacred container where your emotions, memories, and stories can unfold in safety.
You will be gently guided through the thresholds of numbness, sorrow, release, and renewal — not to fix grief, but to let it move.
Through the dark soil of grief, something luminous is waiting to be born. This is where endings become beginnings. A tender initiation into the sacred art of grieving. To weep, release, and open to the fertile wisdom held within your womb and heart.

I am Micaela — a doula, ceremonialist, somatic therapist, grief guide, and mentor in rites of passage.
My own initiation into grief began when my mother died in a hiking accident when I was 26 years old.
Only months later, I was divinely guided into my first grief ceremony, a space that changed my life and revealed the deep medicine of being witnessed in sorrow.
Since then, I have devoted my path to walking with others through their own sacred thresholds weaving together ancient wisdom, somatic healing, ritual and deep listening.
